Galleries Help
Viewing Images - notes for the Site Menu:
From any page, clicking "Galleries" in the Header or footer opens a drop-down menu that leads to the various groups and pages that are available - Resource Images, Journey Imaged Photos, Home, etc, as well as links to external pages that will open in a new window.
Opening the group of interest allows selection of specific galleries. Please note: a password or an account log-in may be required at this point.
Clicking the gallery chosen to explore opens a page of thumbnail photographs.
The "Show All" link, bottom center, will display all thumbnails on one page rather than multiple pages. A word of caution however as some of these galleries can have many photographs and may take a while on a slower connection.
Clicking a photograph selects it for a larger display.
Once the photo is enlarged the cursor over it can open a couple of menus.
~ If purchasing is enabled for this gallery, "Buy" will be at the top. This button is also duplicated in the upper right corner of the page.
Clicking either "Buy" button will open a window allowing the selection of various available options for acquiring this photograph - see Purchasing video above. There may only be one item available on this page, such as a download, but "Select" still needs to be clicked to place it in the shopping cart.
There is a Slide Show button in the upper right that will start a full-screen display cycling through all the photographs in the gallery if you would rather.
Favorites - Creating, Editing & Sharing a set:
Before a Favorites list can be created, the system will require you to either log-in to your account or create an account in order to save your list. Your Favorites Lists will then be stored and accessible from any internet connected computer's web browser just by logging in to your account.
The Favorites feature allows you to pick specific photos in a gallery or collection, save them as a set of favorites, and then share this set directly with the photographer or with your friends.
This feature can be used to communicate a message with me about the selected list of photos.
An example uses for this feature may include:
You may create as many Favorites List as needed and all will be stored in your account.
Changes to Favorites Lists are automatically shared between you and me. If you remove a photo from the list or add a new photo, the change will be automatically reflected when I view the list. It also works in the reverse as images that might be removed from the list by me will also be removed when you view the list.
Please note: if the selected images are password protected, you may be required to enter that password again to view the images in your Favorites List.
